The Special Olympics Athletics Events of the 10th Guangdong Provincial Games for the Disabled were held at Maoming Olympic Sports Center Stadium from June 27 to June 28. A total of 137 athletes from 17 prefecture-level city delegations across the province gathered here to compete.

The 2026 National Athletics Championships was held at Kuishan Sports Center, Rizhao City, Shandong Province from June 26 to June 28. Classified as a Level I event certified by the Chinese Athletics Association, it stands as the top-tier elite competition of the year. Nearly 900 athletes from 32 delegations nationwide completed all events successfully.

The 2026 Guangdong U-Series Athletics League (Stop 1) was held at Jiangmen Sports Center from June 20 to June 21. More than 1,500 athletes from 132 delegations across the province joined the competition.

It was held in Shangyu District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province from June 19 to June 21. The event featured a rich and diverse competition schedule, with three elite competitive divisions—the Asian Athletics Relay Championships, National Athletics Relay Championships and U20 National Athletics Relay Championships—staged alternately alongside the mass relay division.

The 2026 Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Athletics Games for University and Middle School Students was held in Karamay, Xinjiang from June 15 to June 18. Over 1,230 student athletes from 61 delegations across the autonomous region took part in the competition.
